The Panyu Qianfeng Water Purification Plant reformed the original sludge dewatering process, using a combination of plate and frame filter presses and sludge low-temperature drying equipment to reduce the water content of the sludge from 99% to less than 30%. The characteristics of drying reduction, low temperature, safety and reliability are one of the first water purification plants in Guangdong Province to adopt advanced sludge treatment technology.
